Name:
Ryan Anderson |
 |
|
School:
California |
|
Position: PF/C |
|
Class: Sophomore |
|
Height: 6'10" |
|
Weight: 240 |
|
Strengths: |
He's
at his best when playing facing the basket and has range out to
and beyond the NBA three point line. In fact, his three
point shooting is easily his greatest strength and the trait
that'll keep him playing in the NBA for a long time. A
smart player with a high motor who makes the most out of his
limited athleticism. Works to improve. A solid
rebounder. Displays good touch when finishing inside.
Really understands how to play the game. |
|
Weaknesses: |
To sum
it up, defense isn't really his thing. Anderson isn't more
than an average defender either inside or on the perimeter.
He's not a player who's going to take contact inside and still
finish with the dunk. Is nothing more than a marginal
athlete with average quickness and below average explosiveness.
Can have some trouble holding his spot on the block. |
|
Overall:
|
Anderson is in a weird situation where-in, if his name was Rios
Andros, he'd likely get top 5 pick consideration, but since he's
an American player with his skill-set, he's somewhat overlooked.
At this point he looks like he'll end up being a more athletic
Troy Murphy. |
