Darrell Arthur

Name: Darrell Arthur
School: Kansas
Position: PF
Class: Sophomore
Height: 6'8"
Weight: 216
Strengths: Arthur's the type of power forward that most up-tempo teams would love to have.  He gets out and runs the break well, while having the ability to finish with authority.  A natural athlete for a power forward.  A better perimeter defender than you'd expect thanks to his lateral quickness.  Flashes a solid back to the basket game.  Still has a lot of upside.
Weaknesses: Listed at 6'10", Arthur only measured in at 6'8" during pre-draft workouts.  He lacks the brute strength to battle with most big guys in the paint and seems to know it as he'll sometimes show away from contact, especially when looking to score.  Right now his jumper goes south after 12 feet and completely falls off past 15'.  A streaky player who will get you 22 points one night and 8 the next.  Isn't much of a passer right now.
Overall: Arthur's stock fell quite a bit by only measuring in at 6'8".  He isn't the type of player that's going to be able to contribute consistently right away.  He's going to need a couple years.
