Name:
Anthony Randolph |
 |
|
School:
LSU |
|
Position:
SF/PF |
|
Class: Freshman |
|
Height: 6'10" |
|
Weight: 197 |
|
Strengths: |
You
don't have to watch Randolph long before you begin to understand
the comparisons to Toronto Raptor Chris Bosh. The lanky
lefty even looks like Bosh shooting the ball. The upside
for Randolph is enormous. He's a very good shot blocker
and is aggressive going after rebounds. He looks to dunk
everything despite his thin frame. Has the type of
ball-handling skills that most small forwards wish they had.
Outstanding athleticism. |
|
Weaknesses: |
While
Randolph's upside is high, he's got miles to go before he
reaches it. He's undisciplined right now and doesn't seem
to have a feel for what he can and can't do. He'll
constantly try and do to much. At just under 200 pounds,
he's not big enough to hold his own at power forward in the NBA
right now. He gets out-muscled way to easily.
Doesn't have 3-point range, but seems convinced that he does.
Although, he did do a better job of limiting his three point
attempts as the season went on. Fades away to much on
shots. |
|
Overall:
|
Anthony Randolph is fairly easily the most hard to project
player in this year's draft. He could turn into a star,
similar to Chris Bosh or fade away completely in a couple
seasons. |
